Dr. Kimberly Huerth is a board-certified dermatologist with specialized training in cosmetic and laser surgery. Her formal education and training include:

During residency, Dr. Huerth trained at several prestigious institutions, including Howard University Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, Washington D.C. Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health. She also completed an American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) fellowship in cosmetic and laser surgery at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute and Laser Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
Dr. Huerth’s professional memberships include the Utah Dermatology Society (UDS), American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS). She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, a widely read scientific journal that focuses on the latest advancements in medical and aesthetic dermatology.
Dr. Huerth has an extensive academic background, including degrees in medicine and graduate degrees in education that were earned during the years she taught mathematics for Boston Public Schools. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters, and is an active participant in scientific presentations and industry-related lectures. She has received numerous awards, including the ODAC Young Dermatology Leader Mentorship Award and the ASDS Vic Narurkar, MD, Resident Award.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Huerth enjoys riding her Ducati, skiing, gravel bike riding, camping in the desert, and catering to the whims of her three cats.
